Travel Cousellors is the brainchild of Company Chairman David Speakman. Unlike conventional agents, our travel agents, known as Travel Counsellor’s, all work from home connected to our head office in Bolton by award-winning, in-house developed technology.
Each Travel Counsellor is empowered to work the hours to suit their customers and their work/home life balance. With over 170 employees at our head office we take care of all administration, customer invoicing, marketing and supplier negotiations leaving each Travel Counsellor free to focus on their customers. This unique business model, which was the first of its kind for a UK travel company, saw Travel Counsellors awarded the esteemed Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2003 – 2008, the only travel agency to be given this prestigious accolade.
